The name “Lama”  has been synonymous with high quality workmanship since the 1960s. Lama Tiles  was formed in 1962 under the name of “Butterworth Brickworks” to produce clay bricks and “Lama 62” profiled concrete roofing tiles as well as its related accessories primarily for the building and construction industry. Whilst leaving us with more than 50 years of experience, our objective is to be the supplier and manufacturer of choice for concrete roofing tiles and accessories, as well as any associated products that we are involved in basing on high levels of quality, workmanship, service and innovation catered for both residential and commercial applications. “Lama”, to date, is the largest and oldest privately owned Concrete Roofing Tile and Metal Door / Window Frame manufacturer in Malaysia and Singapore.

A roof tile must prove its ability to survive in harsh uncompromising tropical climate andLama Tiles’ response has never been stronger. On Design, Research and Development coupled with our Technical Knowledge and stringent Quality Control, every tile has been manufactured to withstand both the environment and the economic odds. All Lama Tiles products are both SIRIM, IKRAM, SPNB, TCVN (Vietnam Standards) Certification Approved. Our products also comply to European Standards EN 490:1994 & EN 491:1994, American Standards ASTM C 1492 – 03, and Japanese Standards JIS A 5402. Over the years, Lama Tiles  has progressed steadily with upgrades to both Australian, Italian and Japanese technologies of high tech, high speed production plants, including Lama's  own manufactured hybrid machineries based on the synergies, producing Lama ROMAN  range of Extruded Interlocking Concrete Roofing Tile.  With a total production capacity of an easy 6 million pieces of tiles (612,224 sq. metres) per month in Malaysia and in Vietnam, we have been maintaining our positions at the front places of the industry for decades. This earlier ideals have proven themselves well as the company has prospered to the point that today, it is growing rapidly in size and prestige as well as expanding its scope.
